Renowned Nigerian business leader and former Chairperson of First Bank of Nigeria, Ibukun Awosika, delivered a deeply inspiring message of faith, purpose, and resilience recently as she addressed beneficiaries of the Jerry Eze Foundation Entrepreneurial Grant Award in Abuja.

The event, organized by the Jerry Eze Foundation, brought together hundreds of emerging entrepreneurs who were empowered with business grants, amounting to N920 million, aimed at transforming lives and building sustainable ventures.

Over 200 beneficiaries received financial support to grow their businesses and fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams.

Speaking at the gathering, Awosika shared candid reflections on her journey in business and leadership, emphasizing the central role of faith in her life.

In her words, “I could not imagine my life without God”. She maintained that her achievements are rooted in divine guidance and unwavering trust in the Lord.

Addressing the grant recipients, she encouraged them to see their businesses not just as profit-making ventures but as platforms for purpose and impact.

She urged them to remain steadfast, disciplined, and God-centered as they navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship, stressing that “you will be accountable to God”.

The business mogul stressed the need to build with the right intentions, while raising altars for God as His ambassadors in the market place.
