Another Voice For Christ To The World

Evangelist and pastor, Andrew Umoru, has formally unveiled the International Miracle Service (IMS), an evangelistic organization he founded to serve as a vehicle to spread the knowledge of Jesus and reach the non-believing communities in Nigeria and around the world.

The inaugural service to announce the start of the ministry was held in Lagos with the message of salvation, divine intervention and supernatural transformation of those who receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

The event which took place at the Paradise Event Arena in Ebute-Metta, Lagos and streamed live on Youtube, drew participants from across Nigeria and beyond, as many who have followed the ministry of Evangelist Umoru around the world joined virtually. It turned out to be a landmark gathering, aimed at ushering believers into what the cleric described as a “new season of grace and manifestation.”

In his inaugural speech, the cleric described the gathering as more than a routine church meeting, calling it a “divine appointment”. He declared that the weekly service would trigger “unusual testimonies, undeniable miracles, and supernatural shifts,” reinforcing expectations of healing, deliverance, and breakthrough encounters.

The launch of IMS comes amid heightened public interest surrounding the Evangelist’s ministerial direction following his recent exit as a Group Pastor in the Deeper Life Church, though still a member of the church.

A respected voice within and outside Nigeria’s Christian community, Evangelist Umoru has stressed the importance of spiritual depth and doctrinal soundness in worship, advocating a return to hymn-based expressions that “prepare the soul” and foster deeper encounters with God.

His teachings and ministry engagements have consistently drawn large audiences, particularly in Lagos, where he has been active in interdenominational events and faith-based gatherings.

Organisers of the International Miracle Service say the inaugural service would be followed by weekly gathering of worshippers who would converge on Wednesdays to be part of the intensive prayer sessions, prophetic ministrations, and teachings centred on faith, restoration, and divine empowerment.

His words, “Come hungry. Come expectant and come with faith in your heart.”
