KIVI Leader Challenges Church On Unity And Global Impact

A renewed call for unity within the Body of Christ is gaining momentum. This is coming amid growing global uncertainty, ideological divisions, and rising conflicts across the nations of the earth.

The Kingdom Impact Vision International Outreach (KIVI), a global Christian network now active in over 30 countries, is leading this charge, stressing the dire need for unity as a strategic pathway for advancing the gospel and raising true disciples of Christ.

The Global Leader of KIVI, Junior Nwaubani, in an exclusive interview with Kingdom Times said that unity is not merely a spiritual ideal but a necessity for kingdom advancement.

“Unity is not optional, it is a sound kingdom strategy,” he stated, adding that, “The times we are in demand alignment in the spirit. The divisions we see in the Body of Christ are not just unfortunate; they hinder the advancement of the gospel. When believers and leaders come together in purpose and truth, the Church becomes a formidable force against darkness.”

Founded with a mandate to transform lives and influence society through the gospel, KIVI’s mission, according to Nwaubani, centres on raising believers who understand their identity in Christ and are equipped to impact every sphere of life.

He maintained that the organization, with its global headquarters in London, United Kingdom, remains committed to preserving and boldly projecting the light of the Church in an increasingly complex world.

Addressing the foundation of unity, Nwaubani highlighted the role of grace. “Grace teaches humility and removes pride, the major cause of division,” he explained. “When leaders understand that their calling is by grace and not personal merit, it becomes easier to honour one another and work together for a common purpose.”

He identified doctrinal extremism, personal ambition, and the influence of worldly systems that promote competition over collaboration as major barriers to unity within the Church. He, however, urged leaders to return to the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit to overcome these shortcomings.

For church leaders struggling with collaboration, Nwaubani offered a way out, “Look beyond your platforms and see the bigger picture. The Kingdom of God is greater than any individual ministry. We must embrace love, humility, and mutual respect to create an environment where the gospel can flourish without restriction.”

On the impact of unity on younger believers, he noted that the next generation is closely observing the current church leaders. “When they see unity, they learn alignment and purpose. When they see division, they become confused. Unity provides a strong spiritual foundation that empowers them to carry the gospel forward with clarity and conviction.

“God is calling the Church back to the cross, back to the Bible, back to intimacy, holiness, true evangelism, soul-winning, and purpose. These are critical times, and believers must remain spiritually discerning.”

Drawing from Scripture, the KIVI founder referenced the church in Corinth, which was spiritually vibrant, yet divided. He used this to illustrate the dangers of disunity, noting that despite their spiritual gifts, their lack of unity led the Apostle Paul to describe them as carnal.

With its growing presence across nations, KIVI continues to advocate for a unified Church, one that transcends denominational lines and reflects the heart of Christ in a divided world.
