In a time marked by increasing spiritual hunger and public disenchantment with some happenings in the church, Kingdom Times sits down with Andrew Umoru, an evangelist and prayer leader, to ask him about the vision behind the International Miracle Service (IMS), an organisation he describes as a divine appointment for global transformation.
KT: The International Miracle Service is being described as more than a programme. What exactly has God placed in your heart concerning this organisation?
Evang. Umoru: Thank you. What the Lord laid in my heart is very clear. This is not just another meeting; it is a move of God. The International Miracle Service is a platform for divine encounters. We are in a time where people need tangible expressions of God’s power. IMS is a response to that cry. It is a place where lives will be restored, destinies aligned, and Christ revealed in power. It is a divine mandate.
The timing is very important because we are in a season where people are seeking real encounters with God. The Lord instructed me clearly that this is the moment to birth a platform where His power will be made manifest globally through genuine salvation experiences, end-time revivals, miracles, restoration, and transformation.
KT: You described the inaugural service as a “divine appointment.” What makes it different from other gatherings?
Evang. Umoru: This is not a routine church meeting. It is prophetic in nature. There is a specific instruction from God tied to this service; that it will mark the beginning of unusual testimonies. A divine appointment means God Himself has set the time. It is prophetic. There are people whose breakthroughs are tied to this moment.
The Lord said clearly that this service will usher in unusual testimonies and miracles that cannot be denied. It is a turning point for many. People who attend in faith will experience undeniable miracles and supernatural shifts. Situations that have lingered for years will give way.
KT: Why did you choose this location? What is the significance of this location in God’s agenda?
Evang. Umoru: Lagos is strategic. It is not just a city, but a gateway, and a hub, not just for Nigeria, but for Africa and the world. Lagos is a place where destinies intersect. Holding it at Paradise Event Arena allows accessibility while also symbolizing that God’s presence can meet people right where they are. The use of the venue is both strategic and symbolic, showing that God is ready and able to meet His people and turn them around for good.
However, we also have a very solid online presence and representation as well. For those who cannot be available physically, they can watch through any of our social media platforms as well.
KT: There has been public conversation around your ministry in recent times. How does this new initiative respond to that?
Evang. Umoru: I believe in focusing on God’s assignment rather than distractions. My message is simple: I forgive all. This is a season of grace, not conflict. IMS represents a forward movement of what God is doing now and what He is about to do. The Kingdom of God advances through love, unity, and grace. We cannot carry bitterness into a new season. This is a time to move forward, to focus on God’s purpose, and to let healing begin in the Body of Christ.
KT: What should attendees expect during the services?
Evang. Umoru: Expect intense prayer, the Word of God, prophetic declarations, and tangible manifestations of God’s power. But more importantly, expect a personal encounter with God. Come hungry, come expectant, and come with faith.
KT: What is your call to the global Church at this moment?
Evang. Umoru: The call is to awaken faith. This is not the time to be passive. Position yourself spiritually. Be hungry for God. God is doing a new thing, and those who are ready will step into it.
KT: Finally, what is your message to those who are planning to attend or follow online?
Evang. Umoru: Do not treat this casually. Position your heart. This could be the moment that changes everything for you. What has resisted you will bow, and what has delayed you will be removed. I look forward to seeing everyone, both physically and globally connected.
