KIVI To Church Leaders: Unite For Gospel Expansion (Full Interview)

Amid global uncertainty and increasing ideological divisions giving rise to violent conflicts, the need for unity within the Body of Christ has become more urgent than ever. The Kingdom Impact Vision International Outreach (KIVI) has been pushing for unity among church leaders and ministers as a strategic pathway for advancing the gospel and raising true disciples for Christ.

In this exclusive interview with Kingdom Times, the head of KIVI, Junior Nwaubani, shares insights on the role of unity, the sustaining power of God’s grace, and the responsibility of the Church in discerning the times and seasons.

KT: KIVI has been loud in its call for unity among church leaders. What inspired this message at this time?

KIVI:  Yes, unity is not optional, it is a sound kingdom strategy. The times we are in demand alignment in the spirit. The divisions we see in the Body of Christ are not just unfortunate, they hinder the advancement of the gospel. When believers and leaders come together in purpose and truth, the Church becomes a formidable force against darkness.

KT: Can you tell us about the vision and mission of Kingdom Impact Vision International Outreach?

KIVI: KIVI is a mandate driven by a burden to see lives transformed and the gospel reach every sphere of society. Our mission is to raise believers who understand their identity in Christ and are equipped to influence their world. We are committed to preserving the light of the Church and projecting it boldly in a darkening world.

KT: What role does the grace of God play in fostering unity among believers?

KIVI: Grace is the foundation of everything we do in Christ. It teaches humility and removes pride, the major cause of division. When leaders understand that their calling is by grace, not by personal merit, it becomes easier to honour one another and work together for a common purpose.

KT: What are some of the key challenges hindering unity in the Church today?

KIVI: One major challenge is doctrinal extremism and personal ambition. There is also the influence of worldly systems that promote competition instead of collaboration. The Church must return to the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit if we are to overcome these barriers.

KT: What is your message to church leaders who may be struggling with collaboration and unity?

KIVI: I would say, look beyond your platforms and see the bigger picture. The Kingdom of God is greater than any individual ministry. We must embrace love, humility, and mutual respect. When we do this, we create an environment where the gospel can flourish without restriction.  This call is coming to leaders and ministers alike.

KT: How can unity among leaders impact the next generation of believers?

KIVI: The next generation is watching us. When they see unity, they learn alignment and purpose. When they see division, they become confused. Unity provides a strong spiritual foundation that empowers them to carry the gospel forward with clarity and conviction.

KT: From your perspective, what is God’s emphasis to the Church in this season?

KIVI: God is calling the Church to awakening, back to the cross, back to the bible, back to intimacy, holiness, true evangelism, soulwinning, and purpose. These are critical times, and believers must be spiritually discerning. We cannot afford to be distracted. The focus must be on God’s agenda for humanity.

Let’s look at the Church in Corinth; the church was so spiritual in so many ways, but because of their lack of unity and division, Apostle Paul described the church as a carnal church. As the call for unity echoes across ministries and denominations, KIVI’s message is clear across the Christian faith, unity remains a key ingredient that we as the body of Christ cannot do without.

KT: Why do you say unity is a cannot-do-without ingredient ?

KIVI: The answer is simple. This message should serve as both a reminder and a challenge that in this era where the Church faces external pressures and internal divisions, unity stands as a divine key to unlocking greater impact. Believe me, the expansion of the gospel is deeply tied to the alignment of God’s people. Where there is unity, there is strength; where there is alignment, there is unstoppable Kingdom advancement.

For believers and leaders alike, this call to unity is not merely a suggestion, it is a divine instruction for the times.
